Let’s face it, we live in a culture that glorifies busyness. The business of busyness. It’s as if being busy is a badge of honor that we wear with pride. We fill our schedules to the brim with meetings, appointments, and endless to-do lists. But why? Are we really accomplishing anything or are we just spinning our wheels?
Favorite movie quotes
I am a movie fan and also a movie quotes fan. I quote movies all the time but I am going to list only movie quotes that I actually liked the moment I heard them in the movie. The first time. Sometimes you are quietly watching and something you hear hits you sort of like an epiphany. A punch in the face. A revelation. Something that had to be said or you had to hear. Many times how you receive a quote depends on your state of mind at the moment, and the same quote would have felt different in any other circumstance. Anyways, in no particular order, these are my favorite quotes.
Learning to blog
So, I never thought blogging would be easy, and I started mostly because 1) I thought learning to blog would be fun and, 2) I had quit my regular/full-time/corporate/”real” job and it appeared that I would have a lot of time on my hands (haha, little did I know…). BUT! no matter how hard you think blogging is, it is harder.
